I'm likely to think that this guy has a serious point, but I wonder if it isn't just the "end" of the story or that stillness in the final paragraph that we're trying to mimic, but if it's the whole tone of his story. If our mimicry of the tone is correct, then this will only serve to stifle our language. Language=Tone. Where is my language at?
